The brief:
Charity, Grassroot Soccer, hosts an annual World AIDS Day Gala. The 2019 London fundraising event aimed to bring together footballers, stars, philanthropists and business leaders to support the charity’s aim to bolster gender equality and teach youth in South Africa about HIV using the power of soccer to educate, inspire, and mobilise.
Mirrorsmith was briefed by event company Coveted Events to create gala materials with a modern, elegant style and to a bring in a touch of neon.
The solution:
The red ribbon of the Grassroot Soccer’s logo evolved into a twisting, satin red ribbon, which wrapped around and through bright neon lettering. The bold, white typography contrasted against black backgrounds to provide an elegant style which could be taken across the auction brochure, on-screen presentations, menus and table numbers. Working in partnership with the events’ company, the style complemented the stunning styling of the gala evening.
